Ready or Not

JENNIFER TYLER: READY OR NOT

A musical comedy show about taking a chance. Making it happen.

Realising you’re finally ready…to not be ready.

For years, Jennifer liked to be over-prepared. Every move was meticulously thought-through and every possible outcome was assessed. She was always really, REALLY ready.

But at the very last minute, Jennifer was offered the opportunity to perform her first solo show. There was no time for a pro/con list, a risk analysis or a therapy session. She had to make a decision. Was she ready to take the plunge?

Moments later, surrounded by charts, notes, scripts and demos, she realised – not only did she have hours of material to choose from – she would never be “ready” in the way she was always waiting to be. No one ever is. So she threw her rule book out the window and here she is!

Through a joyful, warm-hearted mix of 90’s-inspired musical numbers and conversational comedy, Jennifer takes us on a unique journey of fear, bravery, cheese hangovers, and what happened when she finally just said yes.
