HOSTAGE SONG

A subversive, high-velocity indie rock musical from New York artists Clay McLeod Chapman and Kyle Jarrow. Somewhere in the Middle East two hostages sit, awaiting an imminent demise. Filthy, terrified and blindfolded they turn their attention inward to explore past histories, friendships, conflicts and prejudices. Through harrowing lyrics and soaring melodies, these two captives struggle to come to terms with their fate and with each other, taking the audience on an emotional journey of pain, discovery and redemption.

Hostage Song was produced with Pale Fire and ran at the Finborough Theatre in June 2014.
